Your data is hosted and stored in France and in the European Union.
In practice
The web application runs on a managed hosting platform, with execution in Europe.
The database (accounts, learning paths, learning progress records) is hosted in the European Union, in Germany.
EdBuild AI's AI generation services are hosted with Scaleway, in Paris.
Backups and technical logs are stored in France, on infrastructure that is separate from the production environment.
The media produced (videos, visuals, documents) are kept in object storage located in the European Union.
Data protection
Your data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) across all flows, and at rest both in the database and on the storage volumes.
The database is backed up every hour, with a rolling 15-day retention period and end-of-month copies kept for 3 months. The platform is monitored continuously and protected upstream by a web application firewall and anti-DDoS mitigation.
Access
Every user has an individual account, with a separation between the trainer, learner and administrator roles. For companies, sign-in through your own directory (SAML 2.0 / OIDC SSO: Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace…) is available: authentication and your MFA policy then remain under your control, and deactivating an account on your side immediately cuts off access to the platform.
