🪄 When is a course configured?
As soon as you create your course, you reach a customizable configuration step, just before uploading your first document (pdf, powerpoint, word, txt).
✅ You can then change these settings at any time, even once the course is published. The changes are immediately visible to learners.
🛠️ Which settings are available for the course?
When creating a course, you can define several fundamental settings that shape the whole automatic generation that follows. These settings apply to the entire course and let you personalize the learning experience:
Course name
The title that will appear in the learner interface.Main language
This is the language in which you are going to create your course. Once a course has been saved, on the Team and Enterprise plans you will be able to translate your course into several languages and edit the translated versions.
On the 2nd page, you upload your document, confirm the language of the document you are uploading, and you then have the option of specifying the desired duration of the course to be generated (optional).
On the 3rd page of the generation process, you can regenerate or edit the course context that was automatically generated by the AI (target audience, description, learning objectives of the course)
Once the course has been saved, on the main course editing page you can change the duration shown to the learner, the description, the course title, the learning objectives & prerequisites, as well as the images:

These settings can be adjusted at any time from the course editing page (⚙️), even after publication.
📈 Progression and validation
The Progression and validation tab determines how the learner moves forward in the course and on what conditions it counts as passed.
🧭 Progression mode, how the learner accesses the activities:
Free: the learner can access every activity in whatever order they like.
Sequential: an activity unlocks once the previous ones are completed. Exercises always block; content items block only if you set a completion criterion below.
✅ Activity completion (Sequential mode), what makes an activity complete and therefore unlocks the next one:
Exercises (single-choice quiz, multiple-choice quiz, Quiz, Flashcards, Drag and drop, Fill in the blanks, Glossary): a minimum required score (e.g. 80% correct).
Content (Video, Course, PDF, Podcast): validated automatically when opened by default. You can make them blocking with a criterion, either minimum time spent (e.g. 5 min) or a share of the estimated time reached (e.g. 80% of the estimated time). Meeting one of the criteria is enough.
📚 Sequential chapters: turn this option on so that a chapter only unlocks once the previous chapters are finished.
🏁 Final course validation, the condition for passing the course. Three options to choose from:
Overall average: the average of all the exercises must reach a threshold (e.g. 80%).
Average of a selection: only the exercises you tick count; their average must reach the threshold you set.
Score per exercise: each selected exercise must reach its own threshold (all of them required).
📄 Course completion certificate: the "Allow the learner to download their certificate" option (off by default) lets learners download their certificate themselves from their course page, once the course has been passed according to your criteria.
✏️ Can these settings be changed afterwards?
Number of activities per topic: you can add or remove them manually at any time.
Running an AI generation again follows a simple rule: it is possible on an existing chapter, it is not possible on a topic that has already been generated. When you run a generation again on a chapter, the new topics and activities are added after the ones already there, and the operation uses credits at the standard generation rate.
⚠️ The Regenerate button, available during the preview, is no longer accessible once the course has been saved.
Avatar and voice: once the video has been generated, you cannot change its avatar or its voice.
👉 You can, however, rewrite the script (the text that is read out) and run a new generation of the video.

👁️ Is the preview button greyed out?
The preview only unlocks once the course has been published. In the top right, click Publish, choose the delivery format, classic or scrolling, and the preview becomes available.
