👁️ A learning path stays private until it is assigned
When creating a learning path, if you skip the assignment step (step 3), the learning path:
is saved in your admin interface,
but is not visible to any learner,
so it is private by default until you assign it manually.
✅ This behavior is designed to let you prepare your learning paths in advance without publishing them right away.
🎯 Assigning a learning path to one or more groups
When creating (or editing) a learning path, you can:
Select one or more learner groups
Or assign the learning path manually to specific users
Only the learners assigned to the learning path will see:
the courses it contains,
the option to filter their "My courses" area by learning path.
🔐 Users who are not assigned do not see the learning path at all.
⚙️ No open access or "catalog" by default
Learning paths can only be viewed if they have been assigned
There is no (as yet) system of "conditional rights" or dynamic rules
🔄 Changing or removing access
An administrator can at any time:
Add groups or learners to the learning path
Remove groups or learners
The effect on what learners see is immediate
